چکیده
In this work we present a study of the influence of nucleus initializations on the event-by-event elliptic flow coefficient, v2. In most Monte-Carlo models, the initial positions of the nucleons in a nucleus are completely uncorrelated, which can lead to very high density regions. In a simple, yet more realistic model where overlapping of the nucleons is avoided, fluctuations in the initial conditions are reduced. However, v2 distributions are not very sensitive to the initialization choice.

The effects of the first nonlinear corrections to the DGLAP equations are studied in light of the HERA data. Saturation limits are determined in the DGLAP+GLRMQ approach for the free proton and for the Pb nucleus.

The preliminary LEP data on the e + e − → l + l − scattering are analysed to establish a model-independent search for the signals of virtual states of the Abelian Z ′ boson. The recently introduced observables give a possibility to pick up uniquely the Abelian Z ′ signals in these processes. The mean values of the observables are in accordance with the Z ′ existence. However, the accuracy of th...

I review the description of the electroweak nuclear response at large momentum transfer within nonrelativistic many-body theory. Special consideration is given to the effects of final state interactions, which are known to be large in both inclusive and semi-inclusive processes. The results of theoretical calculations of electron-nucleus scattering observables are compared to the data, and the ...

By fully exploiting the existence of the unitarily inequivalent representations of quantum fields, we exhibit the entanglement between inner and outer particles , with respect to the event horizon of a black hole. We compute the entanglement entropy and we find that the nonunitarity of the mapping, between the vacua in the flat and the curved frames, makes the entanglement very robust.
